Time to Walk the Talk

“Unless commitment is made, there are only promises and hopes; but no plans.”

As announced at the 2011 Clean Energy Summit, Affiliated Distributors is starting a new program called “Walk the Talk.”  We want to encourage each of our Affiliates throughout North America to utilize the Clean Energy products A-D Preferred Suppliers manufacture within your own facilities.  By participating in the Walk the Talk program, not only will you save energy costs, you will also be able to use these products and systems as marketing tools with your customers and potential end-users.

Your Clean Energy suppliers are busy formulating competitive programs that will incentivize your participation and help you “Walk the Talk.”  You will have the ability to select from any of the following 5 product categories:

  • Option #1 – Displays & Sales/Marketing Tools
  • Option #2 – Lighting Upgrades & Energy Management Systems
  • Option #3 – Solar PV Kits & Small Wind Systems
  • Option #4 – EV Charging Stations & Smart Grid Devices
  • Option #5 – Clean Energy Related Stock Orders for 2012

Details:

  • Clean Energy Suppliers will provide A-D with a qualifying program by 8/12/11
  • Programs will be compiled and announced to Affiliates on 8/29/11
  • Affiliates will see additional incentives for orders placed at or before the North American Meeting in October
  • All Walk the Talk Programs will expire 12/30/11

We will be announcing the specific details of the individual programs shortly.  We encourage you to participate in these programs and show your commitment to Clean Energy by placing orders with A-D Clean Energy Suppliers at, or before, the 2011 North America Meeting.

Get ready to “Walk the Talk.”   Until next time…

We're excited to hear about AD's new "Walk the Talk" program and look forward to more details on how we can get invovled. In early July, we broke ground on a new Van Meter branch location in Iowa City, Iowa. The facility plan features all LED lighting, geothermal heating and cooling, a rooftop solar system, electric vehicle charging stations, daylight harvesting technology, power monitoring equipment and more. We’re hopeful when complete the facility will qualify for LEED Silver or higher certification. We want to demonstrate our commitment to clean energy and create a showplace where customers can see innovative products in operation. --Karmen Wilhelm, Director of Energy Services and Solutions, Van Meter, Inc.
